The Five Alarm Freak Show at the Tahoe Biltmore featuring a colorful, deeply eclectic, and ridiculously fun lineup from two theatrical, 8-piece live bands, one of Nevada City's finest bass music producers, and Tahoe's longest Wormhole resident.

The Vancouver-based band is eight men strong and over a decade deep into a career that has seen it release five acclaimed albums and burn up stages across the country on six national tours. And this vehicle isnt about to slow down. In fact, Five Alarm Funk is just picking up steam. Just having released their 6th studio album in March, named "Sweat", the album gets right to the roots of what Five Alarm Funk is all about: epic, intense arrangements, heavy groove and a ton of fun.

Sneaky Creatures is a new mischievous gypsy jazz / alt-country septet from Tahoe Vista / Kings Beach, and they are creeping into the North Tahoe music scene with their unusual blend of the rootsy and the jazzy, the gypsy and the honky, the funky and the rock-a-billy.

Featuring Josh Roelle (Horsemouth, Truckee Tribe) on electric guitar, Kerry Andras (The Rusty Strings) on stand-up bass, Kevin Drake (Downbeat) on saxophones, Todd Holway (Quartet Minus One) on keyboards, Lena Meyer on trombone and trumpet, Jesse Steele on trumpet, and Steve Saturno (Quartet Minus One) on drums, this lineup of seasoned Tahoe musicians come together to create a sound that is at once unique and original, and also strangely familiar.

While watching these guys furtively slink from genre to genre, you can expect to hear many fine examples of Roelles songwriting skills, a plethora of obscure covers, and the occasional crowd pleaser. Youll want to swing your partner, laugh your head off, and duck for cover all at the same time.

Mr. Rogers' sounds have long captivated the West Coast underground arts community with his twisted, psychedelic take on bass-heavy midtempo, and glitch-ridden breaks.

Mr. Rogers first emerged in the San Francisco underground in 2006, and caught the attention of many with his sets of 100% original boutique beats. His unique syle has bounced crowds at numerous major music festivals world-wide, including headlining slots at Rainbow Serpent and Earth Frequency in Australia, Satya and Lau Lau in Israel, Lost Theory in Croatia, Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Shambhala, Entheos, and Astral Harvest in Canada, as well as all over the U.S. including peak slots at countless West Coast Festivals.

Mr. Rogers continues to tour the world after the success of multiple releases on his own label, Ooze System Recordings, and his 2015 breakout side project, PEGA5U5.
