The first ever Indie Adams Morgan "World Beats 2nd Thursday" features the awesome talents of SKA/PUNK Headline Band "Thirteen Towers" with support sets by "Shuma,"Without Warning" and "Stereosaurus!"
THIRTEEN TOWERS - It all started in 2007. Edson & Dave, after playing together in different setups over the years, decided to get their own band together and Thirteen Towers was born. Thirteen Towers is a melodic ska/punk band from Fairfax, Virginia. Thirteen Towers began playing shows in the summer of '08 churning out a handful of songs that came together from the experiences and ideas that each one of its members brought to the table. Thirteen Towers will be rocking the Metro area to a catchy punk rumble with sometimes corny, sometimes serious, sometimes political, sometimes drunk lyrics. Be on the lookout for our album soon.
WITHOUT WARNING - We play hardcore, punk, and thrash. We like walks on the beach, candlelight dinners and sensual back rubs.
SHUMA - Shuma is a Ska/Punk project from Towson, Md. that defies discovery beyond the enigmatic first release on Band Camp simply defined as the Apartment Sessions. If you know anything about this project, no doubt you will be at the show, if you don't, well just come out to find out!
STEREOSAURUS - Tommy loves punk rock music and writes a lot of songs. Tedd tells him which songs don't suck and plays drums to them. Josh plays bass sometimes, but mostly just gets high. Goode plays guitar as well and helps to bring up the average number of beers consumed per song.
