Super8 One Reel Screening
It's back - Timecode:NOLA's celebrates the beauty of Super8 filmmaking with our oh so popular One Reel screening. We gave filmmakers - pros and amateurs alike - one roll of super8 film, a super8 camera & one week to make their 3 minute silent, black & white film with all edits in-camera (shot it in the exact order they want it shown).
The silent black and white films will be projected for the first time at One Eyed Jack's with a live piano player improvising the score. Awards going to best film, most creative, and our audience award.
A live music performance by C.O.G. (Consortium of Genius) will follow the film screening.
The night will kick-off with a one hour screening of Defend The Gulf - short environmental films presented by the Gulf Restoration Networks.
