This year we present one fabulous day and night of music and dancing. Celebrating the early roots of Rock n' Roll with music and dancing that capture a remarkable time period in American creativity and lifestyle. This one night will showcase Jump, Swing, Rhythm and Blues, combined with the social dances that fit.
Saturday August 11th 2012 will also include classes where you can learn The Lindy Hop and it's influence on social dance and the world of Swing.
The Timeline:
noon - 2pm dancing and air steps practice on the Beach* by AQUA LOUNGE (weather permitting),
4pm Lindy Hop Styling dance workshop (level 1 and up)
5pm Swing Dips & Tricks dance workshop (level 2 and up)
7:00 Doors Open for Dance
7:15 FREE intro class
8pm LIVE Band Ron Sunshine & Full Swing
