PILY & BACHATA REAL
PILY & BACHATA REAL is a 100% live bachata band based in Los Angeles. The members come from an array of musical and ethnic backgrounds with musical experience ranging from salsa, jazz,and rock. Members of the band have cultural backgrounds from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Guatamala, El Salvador,and yes, the Ukraine.
When Adelaide Pilar Benavides (Pily) founded the group in January 2011, the objective was to provide live, original bachata music that would cross over to many different listeners.By adding violin and piano to the traditional bachata sound along with elements of American R&B, the group provides music that appeals both pop and latin fans.
Experience bachata with West Coast style from the stage of Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center and enjoy the venue's great dance floor. Bring your dancing shoes!
