A place setting has been lovingly prepared for you at Consonare Chorales The Resplendent Table! Please come and savor everything from amuse-bouches to haute cuisine for your musical palate. Consonare will serve up delectable dishes sure to delight, satisfy, and keep you coming back for more!
From Bobby McFerrins setting of The 23rd Psalm dedicated to his mother, to Rheinbergers setting of Abendlied, the text of the last supper, perhaps most recognizable in Bachs text setting. The Resplendent Table has something for everyone. The Russian Folk song Veniki anchors home and hearth as center stage. In true Consonare fashion we close with Timothy Takachs We Sing of Home honoring friends and family as unifying. Members of Consonare Chorale are featured in small ensembles and solos exhibiting the many reasons why this choirs musical menu would be listed as five-star in the Zagat guide of choral music.
During the past season, Consonare Chorale has been recognized by GIA Publications for excellence in archival recordings, MPE and The Triangle recognized our artistic director for her passion, leadership and innovative approach for publish in a national magazine and we continue collaborations with world-class musicians enhancing the live concert experience of our audiences.

ABOUT CONSONARE CHORALE
Consonare Chorale is a vibrant community of accomplished musicians dedicated to diverse engaging performances. We entertain, educate and connect with audiences in a refreshingly approachable and intimate experience. Consonare is based in Portland, Oregon and draws its members from the greater Portland metro area, as well as SW Washington. In our seventh season, Consonare presents exciting collaborations and performances by truly exciting musicians. Please visit our website or facebook page to receive the most-up-to-date information. ABOUT THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Georgina Philippson is the founder (2006) and artistic director of Consonare Chorale. After several fruitful years teaching at the secondary level in the Vancouver School District, Ms. Philippson was enthusiastic to redefine the perception and experience of a community chorale. Concerts with an intimate experience of octavo music allow a unique programmatic variety that produces a veritable buffet of sound. She is an ACDA certified adjudicator and clinician who guests frequently at Northwest choir festivals and retreats. As a mezzo-soprano soloist, Georgina has been a headlining jazz artist, and also sings across the genres of classical and musical theater. Ms. Philippson earned her Bachelor of Music from Willamette University under Dr. Wallace Long, and her Masters of Education from Portland State University under Dr. Bruce Browne.
