Oktoberfest 2015 will take place on September 26th beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  This community event also serves as a fundraiser for the Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving the Greater Itasca Area with a purpose of "joining charitable intentions with community needs".
The beautiful setting of the Forest History Center, combined with authentic (and incredible!) German food, Minnesota craft Octoberfest beers, games such as hammerschlagen and barrel racing, and traditional music provided by the Elk River German Band, will surely make a memorable evening for all!  And by the way - the Boreal Brewers will be providing homebrew samples throughout the evening to warm the hearts of beer snobs and introduce novice tastebuds to the many varieties of quality, home-crafted beer.
