Judecast Live 5, A Love in the Sixth Film Fundraiser

A night of Martini Think-tanking, fresh clips from the unromantic comedy, Love in the Sixth, kick-arse tunes, and salty schmoozing at Toronto's Tranzac Club (Main Hall).

This Judecast Live show combines the edgy interview format with a live-streamed fundraiser for our enviromantic musical comedy, Love in the Sixth. Besides the awesome Man Band, Asher Ettinger, TC Folkpunk & James Clark (The James Clark Institute), and crunchy comedy interviews, you'll get:

Results of a year of filming with an army of passionate, talented comedians, singer/songwriters, and quirky Toronto artists will be exposed for the first time. Love in the Sixth the film features: Survivorman, LES STROUD, funny man DENNIS TRAINOR (Just Passing Through), the Globe and Mail TV critic and author, JOHN DOYLE. On Sat night you'll see The Corporation's MIKELA JAY mix it up with Doyle in an exclusive film clip and LIVE onstage with actor/writer MATT WATTS (Michael Tuesdays & Thursdays) Also--a peek at a super funky Tar Sands duet with TASHA JAMES' cousin BITCHUMEN & musician/entrepreneur/green activist JOHN LEFEBVRE.

Martini Think Tank panels include: "Human Fireball" comedian CHRISTEL BARTELSE (Oneymoon), comedian, actor, writer MATT WATTS on the resurrection of his critically acclaimed CBC series, Michael: Tuesdays & Thursdays, awesome authors ELYSE FRIEDMAN (The Answer to Everything), NANCY JO CULLEN (Canary), and filmmaker KATE JOHNSTON (Tru Love).
