Yidstock 2015 gathers together many of the world's greatest Yiddish and klezmer performers, including those who were instrumental (pun intended) in the music's revival in the late 1970s and early 1980s, those who moved it forward and gave it a contemporary inflection, and a whole new generation that has learned from the revivalists and now are putting their own stamp on the music. Yidstock Artistic Director Seth Rogovoy will moderate a conversation among festival musicians on klezmer's past, present, and future.
Advanced sales only. Please purchase a ticket to guarantee admission. Admission will be free of charge at the door in recognition of Shabbos, but space is not guaranteed. _____________________________________________________________
