Yep! Buckle-up lil' space rangers we're doing it again! This will be City O' City's and Deer Pile's third annual May the Fourth Be With You party and this year they have joined forces with a few other delightful hosts to take over the entire weekend. Along with 3 Kings Tavern, Mutiny Information Cafe, and City Hall they are all are laying ground for this major intergalactic landing strip from South Broadway to Capitol Hill and will be providing mind-melting festivities all weekend long!
In terms of this year's line up, Denver's Warlock Pincher frontman, flap-jack freakazoid, bizarre-hoarder, atomic-clock-calibrator, and all around authority on all things absurd- Andrew Novick will MC the Saturday night's costume contest with the inexplicably appropriate, intergalactic musical stormtroopers ITCHY-O headlining and Men in Burka with DJ Babyshoe warming up the cosmic glow. Friday night, metal all- star band, Taun-Taun, will stomp out of hiding for a special engagement with Star Wars rapper An Hobbes at 3 Kings Tavern and Mutiny Information Cafe will be hosting a number of sci-fi activities throughout the weekend. Lastly, it will all wrap up with a Sci-Fi Brunch and a raucous film screening with Mile High Sci-Fi decimating DreamScape at City O%u2019 City and Deer Pile on Sunday.
