This groundbreaking, unique and comprehensive 5 day Residency Tour features Nationally recognized Recovery performers; World-renowned Recovery Comedian MARK LUNDHOLM; from A&Es Dope Man, Author, and National Thought Leader on Addiction - TIM RYAN; Author of "American Fix", Huffington Post writer, and creator of the Voices Project, RYAN HAMPTON; NYC Singer-Songwriter MATT BUTLER and from Athletes' In Recovery, former NFL player with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, RANDY GRIMES.
This year we will be hosting four evening performances: Wednesday Dec 5th in West Bloomfield at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 5:45pm with the show starting at 6:30pm. Thursday Dec 6th in Lansing at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with doors opening at 5:54pm and the show starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday Dec 7th will we be at the East Flint Church of the Nazarene, which will feature a ticket option for attendees to join us for a Mexican Cuisine Buffet Style Dinner, sponsored by the Genesee County FAN Chapter. The dinner starts at 5:30pm (attendees for the dinner may arrive at 5:15pm) Doors for the event open at 5:45pm with the show starting at 6:30pm. we wrap up the tour in Pinckney at Shalom Lutheran Church, which will feature a BBQ style cuisine at our Buffet Style dinner, sponsored in Honor of The Amber Reineck House.The dinner starts at 5:30pm (attendees for the dinner may arrive at 5:15pm) Doors for the event open at 5:45pm with the show starting at 6:30pm. If you would like to sponsor our event, your support will help provide this year's tour to High Schools and Jails in Genesee, Ingham, Lenawee, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties as well as the MDOC Women's Correctional Facility at Huron Valley, G Robert Cotton Men's Correctional Facility - Jackson, Thumb Correctional Facility - Lapeer and the Gus Harrison Men's Correctional Facility - Adrian, as well as the treatment centers at Brighton Center for Recovery and Meridian Health Service. These Recovery focused performances will address stigma and barriers, highlight opportunities for addiction recovery and address the systemic aspects that affect our communities. These performances and your generous sponsorship will help provide the funds for community substance abuse initiatives as well as support the collaborative efforts of the many community grassroots stakeholders.
