The Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501C(3) corporation that serves the needs of Derry Township residents without prejudice of any race, creed or political affiliation. Its primary service is to provide supplemental food and emergency assistance to qualifying local families and individuals.
Feed the Need is the primary fundraiser for Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach, Inc. The funds raised help the volunteers to procure, stock, and distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, canned goods, meat, dairy and bread to over 400 families (appx 1,271 individuals) per month.
