For more than 38 years SSFNC, located in the Phillips Community of South Minneapolis, has served families living in poverty and suffering the effects of child abuse and neglect. As one of the first private nonprofit agencies to implement holistic family treatments in the state of Minnesota, SSFNC pioneered programs of therapeutic early childhood education based on the belief that child abuse and neglect are treatable and preventable.
