The Trinacria Theatre Company is a summer exchange program that brings American theatre artists to Sicily for a four-week intensive residency. Our mission is to use theatre as a tool to promote Sicilian history, heritage, and culture at home and abroad. Over the summer, theatre makers study and work in the beautiful landscape of the Southern Messina region, developing an original piece of theatre based on local folklore and mythology. The final performance will be staged outdoors free of charge in various villages, as well as in the United States.
