Urban Research Theater develops original theatrical works out of a continuous, long-term practice of performance research. Our commitment to uniting text and narrative with irreducible liveness in performance follows a tradition established by the laboratory theatres of Konstantin Stanislavski and Jerzy Grotowski. We aim to be a theatre laboratory for the twenty-first century.
