Founded by Molly Crabapple of New York, Dr Sketchy's is what happens when cabaret meets art school. Branches have sprung up worldwide started by artists and performers seeking a fun and sexy twist to life drawing. The Seattle branch has been inspiring and entertaining artists since May 2007. Liz Panelo ran the event until February 2010 at the Jewelbox Theater. Starting in 2010 Seattle's event moved to the historic Oddfellows Building hosted by the Academy of Burlesque. Whisper de Corvo took over in 2013 and continues to bring you the most dazzling burlesque performers to spice up your sketchpad. Come join the fun every 3rd Sunday at various cool locations about town. To top it off, Dr Sketchy's Seattle supports performers in earning a livable wage for their art.
