The former St. George%u2019s Church in Lee, MA has undergone a transformation into the Spectrum Playhouse, Community Center and Joyous Studios. Now the Spectrum Playhouse is a multi-purpose performance space hosting a year-long season of professional performing artists, theatre productions, concerts, lectures and community events.
The Playhouse and Good Purpose Gallery in Downtown Lee are part of CIP%u2019s Berkshire Visual & Performance Arts Program which provides young adults with Learning Differences including Autism Spectrum disorders with an outlet for creative interests, expression through practical skill building and hands-on experience. Students can participate in small group classes and internships and have the opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery and perform in a local venue, helping prepare them for a range of opportunities in the creative arts field.
