Seattle gold leaf gilder Charles Douglas offers Gilding Classes in his Seattle Studio and New York with other cities being added. Classes taught include Traditional Water Gilding, Oil Gilding, Glass Gilding (verre eglomise), Kolner Gilding, and his new class Gilding for Fine Artists. Charles has been gilding for 33 years and is a sought-after instructor in the gilding arts. A former editor of the Society of Gilders International Journal, Charles began his training in New York City as a member of the Saks Fifth Avenue Visual Merchandising Corporate team.
