Known as Vancouver's "go-to" gospel choir, Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir is a 90 voice choir in residence at Christ Church Cathedral. In addition to presenting sold-out concerts, gospel music workshops and regular television performances, Good Noise has received invitations to perform with some of the icons of the music industry. In the fall of 2012, Good Noise was invited to perform at Rogers Arena in Vancouver with the legendary Barbra Streisand. Vancouver Sun's Francois Marchand highlighted the choir as he declared "The highlight of the concert was easily the spectacular rendition of Leonard Bernstein's Make Our Garden Grow, which united Streisand, Il Volo, Botti, Gould, violinist Caroline Campbell and the Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir for an all-out ode to love and nature." Good Noise has also shared the stage with David Foster, Josh Groban, Holly Cole, Jim Byrnes, Dee Daniels and John Lee Sanders.
Good Noise has received several distinctions and awards, having been nominated for a Canadian Gospel Music Award for their debut CD "Glory To The Newborn King" and being voted "Best Choir" in the Vancouver Courier's 2013 Reader's Choice Awards, keeping company with some of Vancouver's choral institutions: Vancouver Bach Choir, Musica Intima, Vancouver Chamber Choir and Chor Leoni Men's Choir. In addition the choir was featured in a brand new six-episode national television series called "Gospel to Go" highlighting gospel music in Canada. Good Noise has performed on CBC TV and radio, Global TV, City TV, Vision TV, The Knowledge Network and Bravo TV. In addition to concert and festival engagements, the choir has also performed many benefit performances for charitable organizations including: BC Cancer Agency, Red Cross, Doctors without Borders, HIV/Aids care in Africa, Soles for Souls, Lifebridge Ministries and the Christmas Wish Foundation.
