"Mistletoe Magic" Florida Skating Academy's 17th Annual Holiday Show
Doors will open at 1:00pm with choice of open seating for ticket holders only. Admission at door will begin at 1:30pm.
A 90 minute show with 16 performances including some of the top roller figure skaters in the USA. Featured skaters include............
World Class Mens Singles champion, John Burchfield of Orlando. John is the current U.S.Champion and has won that title two years in a row. He is a member of the US World Team competing at the World Championship in Reus, Spain, in October. He also won the Bronze Medal at the Junior World Championships in 2011 (Brazil) & 2012 (New Zealand).
Senior World Class Dance Team, Mark Cropley of Port Richey and Emily Clark of Ohio will also perform. They rank 2nd in the USA and are also US World team members currently competing at the World Championship.
The always entertaining Alexander Poland of Sarasota will dazzle the audience with his fancy footwork. A World Class singles skater who has represented the US on the World Team and has held many placements at the national level.
Also performing will be Christopher Gori and Siobhan Boismier. Both have extensive skating backgrounds and are currently teamed in the Senior World Class dance division with a 5th place at the national level. They have also represented the USA on the World Team.
Junior World Class singles skater, Lorenzo Bertoglio, of Sarasota will also take the floor. Lorenzo won the Silver in 2012 at the national level followed by Gold in 2013 and Silver in 2014.
Also in the spotlight will be Kaitlyn Bateman of Orlando.
Making her way through the Youth divisions, she brought home three medals from the U.S. Championships in 2014.
Our show line up also includes several group numbers highlighting our Golden Rollers Seniors, our Kids Class, our Bronze Class and our Youth national placement skaters.
Also a special performance by the Academy's three coaches.
