Tuesday September 3rd: Touring 101 + How to Make a Press Kit!
Level: All Levels. Style: Lecture. 7:00pm - 8:30pm. English.

Description: So you want to tour? Zyra Lee Vanity has been performing burlesque for a decade plus and during that time has toured Europe, Canada and the USA with tours ranging from 2 weeks to 8 weeks! In this class Zyra will teach tips & tricks for organizing a tour, reaching out to producers, saving money on tour, maximizing profit while on tour, packing tips & so much more! This lecture based class will give you all the basic information needed to plan your very first successful burlesque tour! Bonus: Learn how to put together a press kit!
Tuesday September 10th: Traplesque!
Level: Beginner/All Levels! Style: Movement Exercises + Lecture. 7:00pm - 8:30pm. English.
Description: Known as Canadas traplesque seductress, Zyra often uses elements of classic costuming and movement against trap music to create dynamic, edgy and fun neo acts. Performing to trap music is all about attitude, unapologetically living
and having fun! In this class Zyra will teach you how to own all of that! This class will answer the questions, what is trap music? And How does one create an exciting Traplesque number?. Zyra will explain to you how to create a dynamic traplesque routine through fun movement based exercises. Shell discus & showcase the 4 elements of a Traplesque number as well as give yall a mini listen on the history of trap music!
Tuesday September 17th. Improv for Burlesque!
Level: All Levels! Style: Movement Exercises. English.
Description: Burlesque is apart of live theatre, and in live theatre anything can happen! But like we say in show business - The Show Must Go On! In this workshop learn tips and tricks for rolling with the punches when things go dont go as planned! Through a series of improv based exercises designed specifically for burlesque learn how to cope and power through like a professional! This workshop will also teach you a variety improv skills that one can use for improv based burlesque shows or for building the skeletons of an act!
