FnF's Feather River Campout 2019! 17th Year of Planned Campy Chill!

Hello fellow happy campers!

You're invited to participate in the 17th year of planned, campy chill -- FRC :)

The Feather River Campout is delighted to once again provide you with one of the finest camping, swimming and booty-shaking experiences in all of Feather River Canyon. This year, FRC will take place August 2-4 at the Belden Town Resort on Highway 70, about 50 miles northeast of Oroville.

All ages welcome. Children 12 and under are free!

We need volunteers to help make this amazing party happen! Please sign up for a shift when you buy tickets! Details below.

Its a clear explanation of our expectations of everyone that attends our events as well as important information about how we handle situations where people are less than amazing. Please take the time to read this policy as attending the campout means you agree to the terms therein. Thank you!

FIRE PERMIT
Fire permits are required for this site, including for the use of cook stoves. Attendees who do not have a fire permit may be cited.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN A FIRE PERMIT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE.

The best way to obtain a fire permit, is to fill out the permit online, print it out, and bring it with you. Heres the link: http://www.preventwildfireca.org/Permits/

You may also pick up at a permit at the US Forest Service office in Oroville.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
At Feather River Campout we are all in it together! We rely on your energy, enthusiasm, spirit, sweat and hard work to make all the awesomeness happen. The extra good news is that volunteering is fun! It makes you a creator of the event, and youll meet awesome people while you work. When you buy your ticket, please volunteer for a shift to help make this party happen!

BRING FOOD AND WATER!!!
This is a campout. Be self sufficient.
A spigot is available for refilling water, but it is not conveniently located for campers. You should bring large enough containers to get you through the weekend.
In keeping with tradition, a breakfast will be served on Sunday morning, but no other meals will be provided. There is a restaurant onsite but it may be crowded at times, and you should plan to bring at least some of your own food for the weekend.

LEAVE NO TRACE
This is a leave no trace event. Please pack out everything from your camp. A dumpster will be available to drop off your trash on the way out.

Unfortunately, the resort does not have recycling service so please plan to take your recyclables home with you.

PARKING:
Parking will be particularly tight this year so we encourage you to carpool as much as possible. Think clown car, and then take it to the next level!

TRAILERS AND RVS
Planning on camping in an RV or trailer?
You will need to work directly with Belden to do so as RVs and trailers must park in the designated RV area provided by Belden.
Please note that Belden Town does NOT take advanced reservations for RVs and/or trailer camping -- their RV spots are provided on a first come, first served basis and you will need to pay for your spot and get your pass at the bar once you pull in to Belden.
If you would like to camp out of you vehicle or truck (standard-sized vehicles) you may be able to do so on the road near the main stage area. But if parking along the road (which is pretty limited) is full, please be prepared to stay in the RV area of space allows and pay the standard RV rate.

IMPORTANT
FRC is not monitoring nor regulating the RV parking area and we strongly recommend that you plan to tent camp in case this area and parking along the road inside the event is full.

There are no onsite ticket sales. Everyone needs a ticket before arriving.
