Class Descriptions:
Friday April 12th 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM Encase, Rip, Wrap and Transform: Clothing Bondage Made Easy
Spontaneous ties created from a converted tee shirt. Full encasement fetish scenes for just a few dollars using three pairs of pantyhose. Turning your boots into bondage mitts for human puppies. Lets examine the whys of using clothing as bondage, from take down scenes to object fetishism, then look at how to convert a variety of clothes into tools of bondage delight. Learn how to make blindfolds, hoods, gags, arm sleeves, mitts, strait jackets, wrist cuffs, sex-assisting devices, mummy bags, strap-on harnesses, water torture devices, and so much more out of what we likely already have in our closets! Please bring a pair of underwear (or take them off in class), socks, a bandana, and pair of disposable pantyhose if you want to play along!
Saturday April 13th 10:00 AM -4:00 PM Innovation and Beauty in Rope
In rope, just as with any art form, there are those who feel drawn to imitate those who have come before, becoming masters of lineages that preserve style and grace. Some take the artistic skills they have honed and then apply them in new directions based on their foundations. Others still want to pick up the pigments and explore without rules, finding their own way as they go.
In this intensive we will imagine the human body as our canvas, and rope as our paints. Lets create and innovate! From body harnesses to creative chest restraints, head cages to rope corsets, crotch ropes to rump bindings, we will work together to craft new shapes and applications out of the techniques taught in the class, whether you have never tied rope before or have done rope for years. Experienced students will also look at taking techniques they already know, combining them with new information to make the knowledge they already have move in new directions. Models and bottoms will practice skills of collaboration and communication, bringing their ideas to the table while playing with where and how their body wants to feel and see rope on it.
Bring a minimum of two pieces of rope, 25+ foot in length, and one piece of parachute cord or thin twine, 25+ foot in length, for hands-on exploration. More is always welcome. Limited supplies will be available to borrow from the instructor.
Sunday April 14th 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Power, Breath, and Connection with Rope
Rope bondage effects how we breathe from the constriction of rope corsets and chest harnesses to positional asphyxia. But how we breathe also has the power to affect how we do bondage; chest breathing vs. belly breathing, intentional breathing for connection, and more. We will look into how breath moves through the body, how bondage positions effect how we breathe, then work to see how ties effect breath before diving into styles of breathing, breath training for bondage bottoms (and riggers too), and connecting through breath in our ties. Having explored our breath, this intensive will turn towards how we can tap into all of the elements to bring us more closely connected to our partners, our rope, and our passion. Rope can ground us into the earth, or have us communicate in the most minute ways. Restraint can help us swim through the waves of our heart, or kindle passion from the fire within. Lets explore hands-on how this amazing tool can be modified for our own diverse energetic, relationship, or magical path. We will explore how we connect to bondage, and how we connect to each other, through the notion of Intention + Attention = Magic. Whether you are looking to explore power and authority exchange with a partner, build skills in communicating mid-scene, or simply want a chance to see how a bottom can be the guide in rope play through simple movements come out and join us!
Bring a minimum of two pieces of rope, 25+ foot in length, for hands-on exploration. More is always welcome. Limited supplies will be available to borrow from the instructor.
