Theatre Americana presents "Deck the Walls of Barrett Hall"
Theatre Americana presents a holiday performance unlike any other you will attend. We know you have many options during the holidays to enjoy the traditional concert. TA has celebrated 90 + years of live theater this year, and we think you need something really special to create what we think will be a unique, and beautiful holiday tradition from a different perspective. As part of the performance, Theater Americana will re-enact their famous Theatre Arts Ball, an annual event started in 1948 and held at the Altadena Country Club, will be presented integrating a waltz amongst an array of gorgeous costumes. Another visually beautiful performance will be the inter-fusion of Indian Dance performed by students from the Kathak academy using the technique of story-telling to the Western Classic The Nutcracker . Along with several other surprises for our audience, Theatre Americana is featuring Bryan James Love, composer and lyricist debuting his original holiday songs that truly capture his artistry. Put this show on top of your list of things to do with family and friends for the holidays.
