A Dancer's Christmas
A Dancers Christmas, a 45 year Boston/NY Holiday Tradition, created by choreographer Robert Vereecke S.J., will have its New York performances with the Chevalier Ballet company under the direction of Sara Knight. In addition to Chevalier, there will be guest artists, including Steven Cornwall from Kingston, Jamaica.A cast of children complements the work of these gifted dancers.
In its 35 year run at the Robsham theater at Boston College, A Dancers Christmas was known as the religious alternative to the Nutcracker (Boston Globe) It was described as one of the few artistic offerings during the Holiday season that truly takes into account the spiritual meaning of Christmas (Boston Herald)
