SIQ Tent Show 2012
Southside Ignoramus Quartet (SIQ), Chicago's only tent theater, hits the Southside with their Summer 2012 show. Activism and brujeria, karaoke and unicorns, and a displaced Andy Warhol all get SIQ's irreverent treatment in a 45-minute episodic comedy show. Unlike sketch fare occurring at improv mega-theaters, SIQ keeps it real by staging laughs in an air-conditioned tent theater in a Pilsen backyard. Audience members get their "in yo' face" comedy with the help of the tent's bar and resident deejay.
