The 7th Annual "Spay-ghetti & No (meat) Balls" Dinner

Beth Caruso, owner of Lambertville's Caffe Galleria, and Animal Alliance of New Jersey will co-host Animal Alliance's seventh annual Spayghetti & No (Meat) Balls event on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 6:30 pm at Caffe Galleria at 23 North Union Street in Lambertville, NJ.

Caffe Galleria has been a local favorite for over 15 years and offers a colorful, cozy interior and authentic, homemade fare. Guests of the event will enjoy a choice of three entrees (including a vegan option), salad, bread, dessert, and beverages. Caffe Galleria is BYOB.

The Dawn Raia "Hero To Animals" Award will also be presented this evening to Sarah Geser and Katie Shoemakers, two individuals dedicated to the service and welfare of animals in need at Animal Alliance. Through their innovate creation of The Dream Team volunteer corps, they host off-site adoption days at a variety of locations in order to promote pet adoption. Robin Eagan, longtime Animal Alliance volunteer, will be presented with the Volunteer of the Year award. Robin has been faithfully walking dogs awaiting adoption for years, and has performed a variety of other valuable volunteer functions to assist with the operations of Animal Alliance over the years.

All proceeds from the event benefit the operations at the nonprofit agency's low cost spay/neuter & vaccine clinic, Planned Pethood, located at 1432 Route 179 North, Lambertville, NJ. Pet owners regardless of income can get basic wellness care such as vaccines as well as spay/neuter surgery to keep their pet healthy as well as prevent pet overpopulation from unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
