Double Your Pleasure Bingo Presented by the Russian River Sisters
The Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are proud to present a night of fun, fundraising and frivolity as only the Sisters know how to. This is not like any other Bingo game you've ever been to. Picture your Grandmother's church hall bingo crossed with the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the Sisters in their best drag-nun attire.
You will be participating with all your fellow players to raise money for the Russian River Dental Clinic.
From the Dental Clinic: Proceeds from the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence "Double your Pleasure" Bingo will benefit West County Health Centers' Russian River Dental Clinic and support the Oral Health Care needs in our community. This funding will be used to supplement the Russian River Dental Clinic's need for dental supplies associated with caring for our uninsured patients. Our dental program is budgeted to provide $165,413 worth of uncompensated care in 2014 to uninsured patients in our service area which includes 770 square miles from Fort Ross to Valley Ford and from the Pacific Ocean inland to Hwy 101.
West County Health Centers continues to be concerned about the future of our Dental program at the Russian River Dental Clinic. As you may know, the State reinstated the dental benefits for adult Medi-Cal beneficiaries in 2014. Since that time, our dental clinic has been overwhelmed with the demand for services due to limited availability of providers who will accept Medi-Cal clients.
In addition to the Medi-Cal benefits, the need for our services has greatly increased due to rising need of dental care for many people. West County Health Centers, Inc. operates seven sites including the: Russian River Health Center, Occidental Area Health Center, Sebastopol Community Health Center, Gravenstein Health Center, Forestville Teen Clinic, Forestville Wellness Center and Russian River Dental Clinic. In 2014, our entire agency is budgeted to provide over $610,000 worth of uncompensated care for uninsured patients in addition to the $8.9 million of patient services we will provide and be reimbursed for by Medi-cal, Medicare, private Insurance, and our sliding scale program for the uninsured.
As you may know, we care for over a third of the AIDS/HIV patients in Sonoma County, many of whom are on Medi-Cal. In 1991, with the aid of Federal Ryan White funding, our HIV/AIDS program was expanded to include counseling, dental and case management services. For the HIV-positive individual, dental care is extremely important. Many of the beginning stages of dental problems may go unnoticed until they become severe. The conditions become serious more quickly in people with HIV, making them more difficult to treat. Early intervention can reduce or even eliminate many of the problems associated with poor oral health. Learning what to watch for and what to expect is the key to self-empowerment in dental care. West County Health Centers is committed to quality, specialized oral health care for persons who are immunocompromised. Our staff is trained and experienced in providing HIV dental care. Services offered include preventative care, general dentistry, single crowns, root canals and dentures.

The Russian River Sisters are a 21st Century Order of Nuns. Our mission is to spread joy and goodwill through community events, charitable acts and fundraising, with focus on the special needs of the Russian River area. We are also busily at work in safer sex education efforts, political and socioeconomic awareness and community building efforts.
Come to Bingo dressed in a costume related to our theme and participate in the costume contest for fabulous prizes.
Every Bingo will feature a menu of tasty dinner and dessert items, such as: Pizza, Nachos, Chili, Bags of Chips, Cake, Brownies, and a wide selection of soda and bottled water. The BINGO KITCHEN opens at 5:30pm, and closes during the 6th game.
Please take note:
Players must be 18 years of age or older. No exceptions.
No alcohol is allowed in line or in the Bingo Hall. No exceptions.
If you violate either of these rules, you will be asked to leave and not issued a refund.
Online tickets are $20, and are good for: Entry for one person, and two bingo card packs. (Each card pack includes one card for each of the seven games.)
Extra bingo cards ($5 per pack) will be available for purchase at the door.
Pre-sold ticket holders will be admitted starting at 5:30pm, and must arrive no later than 6:30pm.
ALL TICKET HOLDERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TICKET, EACH TICKET HAS A UNIQUE TICKET NUBER AND IS GOOD FOR ONE ADMISSION ONLY. DUPLICATE TICKET NUMBERS WILL NOT BE HONORED. IF YOU PURCHASE A VIP GROUP OF TICKETS, YOU MUST PRINT ALL 10 TICKETS AND DISTRIBUTE THEM TO YOUR GROUP MEMBERS. THOSE WITHOUT A TICKET WILL HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE AND PURCHASE A TICKET SHOULD ONE BE AVAILABLE.
After 6:30pm, advanced purchase ticket holders will continue to be admitted preferentially as long as there is room in the Hall. However, unclaimed seats may be re-sold to people in the regular waiting line.
Failure to arrive on time does not qualify you for a refund.
Entry is on a first come, first seated basis. There are no reserving or saving of seats allowed.
Refunds for advanced purchase tickets are available within 12 hours of the initial purchase time/date and on a case-by-case basis only after that time. The RR Sisters cannot issue refunds, you must contact Brown Paper Tickets directly to discuss refunds.
Online Ticket Sales will automatically be cut off at 9:30am the day of Bingo OR when they sell out (which they often do!) After that time, you will be required to purchase tickets at the door, starting at 6pm. The line to purchase tickets at the door forms early in the afternoon.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, at the sole discretion of the members of the Russian River Sisters, Inc. By attending this event, you give consent for any video and audio recording that may take place.
