Gualala Arts is hosting the Redwood Coast Whale and Jazz Main Event featuring the Bay Area Composers Jazz Ensembles & Orchestra on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Co-directed by Erik Jekabson, trumpet, and Jeanne Geiger, trombone.
Ground breaking, multi-layered original compositions performed by major musician composers. Ensembles range from quintet to seventeen pieces.
Joined by guest artists, 14-year-old flutist, Elena Pinderhughes (youngest member ever of SF Symphony), and the riveting, avant-garde vocalizations of Zo Presley.
Tickets $28 advance, $5 more day of event; includes free appetizer buffet. No-host bar.
