Edmonton Burlesque Events is Proud to present Chicago's Premier boylesque sensations Ray Gunn and Bazuka Joe! With all the class of the boy next door and the hot steaming strength of your morning cup of coffee. Making up two thirds of The Stage Door Johnnies, these boys are sure to please in more ways than one. With performances from local burlesque community members you won't want to miss this spectacular evening of titillating burlesque and comedy!
Dance Party to follow the show, with The Reverend Charlie Scream spinning songs to shake what your mama gave you.

Performances one night only! February 13, 2015 at The Bonniedoon Community League, 9240-93 st. Edmonton, Ab. Doors open at 8 pm, Show at 9 pm $25 in advance $30 at the door. Ticket prices include an Edmonton Burlesque Festival membership. (Individuals with pre-existing memberships will receive a discount code via email) Also available for advanced purchase only will be VIP tickets for $50, these will include reserved prime seating, appetizers for the table, a complementary beverage, dessert and table service. This is an 18+ event containing partial nudity and adult humour. Please not this is a cash only event.

Performer Bios
Ray Gunn
The reigning 2013 King of Burlesque! He's the rough and tumble Johnny... and like your morning cup of coffee, he's strong, black, and keeps you going all day long! Ray, has headlined at burlesque festivals and shows across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with his smoldering, sexy, and frequently avant garde solo acts. Trained in contemporary dance, acrobatics, capoeira, and pole dancing, Ray creates imaginative works of strip-tease art that show off his athletic ability and inspired choreography. Ray served on the creative team of 'Beggar's Carnivale' in St. Louis and recently was a featured presenter at Burlycon in Seattle. He is quickly becoming known for his large menu of insightful burlesque and dance workshops.
Bazuka Joe
He's the sweet and charming Johnny - also known as the "Asian Invasion" of burlesque... and if you think you like his crouching tiger, just wait until you see his hidden dragon! Bazuka has headlined as a soloist and with the Johnnies throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and soon Europe and Japan. Trained in contemporary dance, theater, and vault staff, he creates nostalgic, witty, and lively acts that are immediately accessible to every audience. With a retro-masculine, 'boy-next-door' persona, Bazuka takes everyday fantasy and childhood memories as inspiration for his repertoire. Bazuka Joe is also a seasoned teacher and instructor with more than ten years of experience as a professional choreographer and teacher.

Edmonton Burlesque Events
Founded by Kiki Quinn this organization started as an online community events calendar and promotional page. As a producer Kiki Quinn was given the opportunity to bring industry legends and stars into the city of Edmonton. In an effort to expand the local community and create more unity, these opportunities were turned into community events involving members of the Edmonton Burlesque Events page and community. Showcasing the best talent Edmonton Burlesque has to offer, these events have become bigger and better with each production. With the help of community volunteers and sponsors, not only has the Edmonton scene improved, but the stories of how exquisitely guests are treated and the immense talent that our city contains has spread throughout north America.
