Curious Palate Spirit Tasting Class: Whiskey (Around the World)!
The word "whiskey" comes from the Gaelic "uisge", meaning "water of life," also known as aqua vitae in Latin. Actually there are many forms grapes, grains, and fruits turned to alcohol delights that were at one time or another considered to be the "water of life" in their infancy. Now the big debate seems to be whether whiskey produced by the Scotch, Irish, or American is the best for drinking purposes. Well, let's see, shall we? In this class we'll explore the differences in whiskey (and whisky) from all over the globe!
The Curious Palate is a tasting class series that is designed to explore the world of wine, beer and spirits and learn your palate in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The Curious Palate is for the taster who wants to take their personal wine, beer and spirits experience to a new level by building knowledge...while having fun! Space is limited; reservations are required. Curious Palate Tasting Classes are $25.00 per person and includes the beverage tasting, paired food bites, and engaging education.
