Lose yourself in the intrigue of Side Bar as we raise funds for Y-FRIENDz San Diego. Tickle your fancy beneath crystal chandeliers while dining on decadent desserts and hors d'oeuvres. You won't want to leave when you take a seat on Side Bar's lacy armchairs or velvety couches and music pours from their tantalizing birdcage. Devour the siren call of our belly dancer as you mix and mingle. Our exclusive guest list offers a complimentary invite to stay even later at the Side Bar nightclub. Desserts and pizza samples are on us. Side bar will be serving happy hour specials as well as a specialty cocktail benefiting Y-FRIENDz. What could be friendlier?

For every "Friends with Benefits" cocktail that you purchase, $2 will be donated to Y-FRIENDz! This special run all night, even after the event is over!
About Y-FRIENDz, Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program, a Program of YMCA Youth and Family Services (www.yfs.ymca.org):
The Y-FRIENDz program started in 2004 and has successfully paired children of incarcerated parents with mentors who meet a couple times per month with the assigned youth for a year. Mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear.
About Philanthro Productions (www.philanthroproductions.org):
Philanthro Productions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to get more young adults involved in charity by hosting first-rate social events in partnership with leading non-profits. Philanthro's goal is to eliminate the trade-off for young adults between going out with friends and giving back by creating unique opportunities for charitable giving where there were none before. As an all-volunteer organization, Philanthro is committed to transparency and efficiency in fundraising. Since its founding in 2007, Philanthro Productions has launched chapters in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego, which together have raised nearly $170,000 for partner charities.
