S.H.I.T. Show / The Cool Table
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - January 26, 2010 - After a sold-out, headlining performance at SF SketchFest, for which The Cool Table opened, SF-based production company PianoFights fast-paced sketch comedy riot The S.H.I.T. Show returns to Los Angeles for a one-night-only performance at the Asylum Lab. Chicagos The Cool Table will open the evening followed immediately by a signature S.H.I.T. Show set filled with biting satire, harsh vulgarity and serious laughs, all happening Saturday, January 30, 8:00pm, at the Asylum Lab, 6320 Santa Monica Blvd, 90038. Tickets are $20 online and at the door. More info/tickets can be found at www.pianofight.com and, as always, brown bags encouraged.

The S.H.I.T Show (a.k.a. The "Stop Hating Imagination Time" Show) is produced, written, and directed by six UC Berkeley grads, Zach Cahn, Jed Goldstein, Ray Hobbs, Devin McNulty, Duncan Wold and Evan Winchester. In order to fight their after-graduation-malaise, the crew embarked on a series of adventures, which eventually led them to SF-based PianoFight. Armed with the backing of a legitimate LLC and still harboring an overwhelming need for attention, the group finally realized their dream: a somewhat offensive and vaguely illegal sketch comedy show. Since its inception just over one year ago, The S.H.I.T. Show has created six full-length productions, and been featured in the LA Comedy Festival, SF SketchFest and The Temporary Improv Festival (SF).

PiANOFiGHT PRODUCTiONS is an SF-based production company founded by Rob Ready and Dan Wiliams in July of 2007. Teaming with Combined Artforms Matthew Quinn and Steve Kahn, PianoFight became a managing partner of Off-Market Theaters in 2009.  In its short two-and-a-half-year history, PianoFight has produced original works, premiered all-new shows, created and developed an online web series, and cut numerous short films, all while remaining true to its commitment of producing new work by new artists.
