The National Pastime Theater, Chicagoâs most fearless theater company, in co-production with Sweet-and-Lowbrow Productions boldly embraces the burlesque renaissance now emerging in Chicago by becoming the premier late-night home of Burlesque.

To kick things off, we are proud to present, âSweet-N-Lowbrow: A Burlesk Benefit for the National Pastime Theaterâ, Saturday, January 30th , with more burlesque beauties than you can imagine!. Showtime is 10:30 p.m. and tickets are $15. Proceeds go to help maintain this beautiful theater-- the old speakeasy where Chicagoâs most bodacious burlesque babes can now be found!

The show will be hosted by Oosha Boom, and will feature Chee Chee Claquette, Ms. Spanky Bottoms, JuJu Minxxx (the Reigning âBurlesk Idolâ), Star Kitty, and, all the way from Champaign, Illinois, Eva Avarice, Nova Amorous, Lolly Trollop, and MANY more! From the seedy to the sublime, and everything in-between, this show has something for everybody. Itâs gorgeous gals with gams-a-go-go, for a great cause! What could be better?

Sweet-N-Lowbrow Productions is Maiden Sacrifice and Oosha Boom, two veteran theater and variety performers/producers/technicians, whose dazzling, unpredictable, outrageous brand of âBurleskâ harkens back to the days when the art form was still just as much about substance, satire, and spectacle as it was about sexuality.
