Lola's Latin Basics
Lola Coquette, Award winner for Best Representation of Latin Culture at the 2014 Latin Burlesque Festival, has been stirring up the burlesque stage since 2010 and is known for her cheeky comedic style mixed with her Latin flair. But before the burlesque world took her heart, she fell in love with Latin dancing. In this workshop, Lola will cover Latin basics in three styles- Samba, Cha Cha and Salsa. These fundamentals will give you essentials to send you home dancing or adding a little extra heat to your next burlesque act. All levels welcome. Come dress in fitted dance/yoga clothing and bring your ballroom/character shoes and water.
