Ceramic Wall Pockets
Join artist Leah Wolff as she leads this afternoonlong, handson workshop that will assist students in the creation of their own personalized art-making tools. Each participant will design a unique wall-mounted vessel, specifically tailored for what we would like to store inside. Do you need a place to keep your keys? What about a favorite tool that keeps getting lost? Or a safe place for your lucky pen? After planning your design, each student will then roll out clay slabs and hand build their vessels. Finally, these will be slip-decorated using a variety of color and application techniques to add colorful and unique design to the work.
