Lighting the Night: A Solstice Walk through Bloedel Reserve
The year's shortest day will be a little brighter when we take a candle-lit walk around the Reserve. Imagine what deer, raccoon and owls will think when they see a parade of lanterns traipsing the trails.
Doors to this event will open at 4 p.m. and participants will meet in the Ed Center to decorate lanterns and warm-up with hot cider before walking the grounds together at 4:45 p.m. Note: the only light will be from our candles. Please wear proper footwear and exercise caution. After we bring the light into the woods, we will gather again for more cider and conversation.
