Women of Vision Share the Light Benefit Auction
The Women of Vision 2010 Benefit Auction will be held Saturday evening, April 24, 2010 at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower.
The silent auction begins at 5:45 p.m., followed by dinner, live auction, and entertainment at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets: $80 per person ($40 tax deductible)
The event welcomes Mike Donahue of KOIN Local 6 as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer Johnna Wells.
Proceeds from the Share the Light Auction will support the work of World Vision in Mongolia, helping abandoned, abused, and runaway children who live in tunnels under the streets of Ulaanbaatar; in Cambodia, bringing healing and hope to children rescued from sexual exploitation and for children living on the streets; in Mozambique, bringing clean water and sanitation to the Derre community; and in Honduras, providing a microenterprise program for the entrepreneurial poor, including women seeking a better life for their children. Women of Vision is also committed to helping in our local community and supports The Children's Relief Nursery in North Portland as they bring help to children ages birth to four at risk of abuse and neglect.
