Praise Cheeses: Holiday Cheese Spectacular with Alberto Aurilio

Alberto Aurilio is a nationally renowned cheese importer. At Seacrest Foods International in Lynn, Massachusetts, Alberto presides over a veritable museum of dairy greatness. Alberto and his brilliant palate scour the planet in search of the best of the best. He's the kind of guy who tastes 40 Gruyères before choosing the two he deems worthy of selling.

Because he has developed longstanding relationships with purveyors over the years, Alberto is the perfect match for an event at Rosemont Market. We are excited to bring him to Portland for this special event, in the intimacy of a beautiful private loft residence.

He and Rosemont's cheese buyer, Caitlin Marshall, will guide an in-depth look at a spectacular line-up of mostly imported, AOC cheeses. We will offer the best examples of many classics, as well as a few surprises and left-fielders. We'll serve terrific wines to go with, and offer myriad ideas for cheese-based dishes and cheese courses, all with an eye toward holiday parties and get-togethers.

All the cheeses and wines tasted at this event will be available for special orders, with discounts offered for those ordered the evening of the event.
