Desperately Seeking
CIC takes on the Chicago Reader again. After running our hit Improv show "Bad Review" for three years, where we took the worst Theater review and Improvised the show we felt the critic would rather see, we once again turn to one of our favorite Newspapers to inspire a brand new Improv show. Desperately Seeking takes a random ad from the Chicago Reader's Matches section and explores that person's life. Directed by IO and Annoyance veteran George McAuliffe and created by CIC's Artistic Director Farrell Walsh. Performed by CIC veteran Improvisers, this show will surely make you laugh out loud as the actors improvise an ordinary person's life and quest for love through the personals.
