Comedians Brad Brake, Lizzy Pilcher & Bradley Stuart Jeffrey
Brad Brake started his stand up career in Montreal, the
Mecca of live comedy, while still an amateur he relocated to
Vancouver, Canada. Now based in Seattle Brad is climbing
the comedy ladder in leaps and bounds. His style is so
refreshingly different from any other comic he almost defies
description. Some people describe him as manic, other
people describe him as insane, probably the best description
of Brads act is entertaining and funny.
When he walks on stage Brad takes control of the room and
the audience with the same level of energy one would only
find at a wrestling event. In fact, if Brad had a decent body hed probably be a wrestler, but since not working out and chain-smoking are his favorite pastimes he has instead
opted for a career in stand up. He has also acted in both television commercials and film, and was a regular on the sketch comedy troop HAX TV. Hes worked with the likes of Dave Chappell. Most recently, Brad toured with Hall of Fame wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper in his one-man show.
Brads stage show is so energetic that on occasion he has
actually injured himself, but being the showman that Brad
Brake is he finished his show to a standing ovation, and then went to the hospital, it turned out he dislocated his knee...oops!
Brad describes his show as a cross between a circus clown
and The Three Stooges on speed. Some comedy purists
might prefer a style that resembles a politicians speech, a lot of words, but not very entertaining. Brads approach is that people go out to be entertained, not to be educated or talked at. An energetic powerhouse when it comes to standup comedy, his original style and go-for-broke enthusiasm makes his act one that is not to be missed.
Hailing from Denver, Colorado; Lizzy Pilcher is the six foot one daughter of an ex-convict and an accountant. She knows how to steal a car and write it off on her taxes, and if you call her the 'Mile High Comic' she will punch you in the face. Full of sarcasm and self deprecation, Lizzy holds a potent blend of humor that is truly unique. One day Lizzy hopes to open a comedy club of her own modeled after the one in her head- the one where she kills every time.
Hosting will be Bradley Stuart Jeffrey whose been performing stand-up comedy since July of 2007. Appearing regularly at Seattle's Comedy Underground and Semi Regularly at Tacoma's Comedy Underground, Bradley has done several Guest Spots for nationally touring, Billy Wayne Davis.
