Get intimate and personal with Bronx media artist Seyi Adebanjo and experience recent works followed by a conversation.  Works to be screened include Trans Lives Matter! Justice for Islan Nettles, a powerful and intensely moving document of a community vigil for Islan Nettles a transgender Womyn of Color; Against the Grain follows the story of OluSeyi, a cultural organizer, artist, healer, & Queer Nigerian whose spirit is transcending gender; and ya: Something Happened On The Way To West Africa!  (excerpt) is the journey of Queer Gender Non Conforming Nigerian Seyi Adebanjo's return home to speak directly with ancestors, connect with Òrìà (African God/dess) tradition, and follow a trail back to the powerful legacy of my great grandmother, Chief Moloran Ìyá ĺya.
