Are the winter blues kicking in? Have you eaten too many holiday sweets? Have you been neglecting your quad skates for ice skates? Well then we have just the thing for you so grab your toques and scarves and strap on your derby gear because Winter Warpath is back!
Welcome to Warpath 2015, Bigger and better than ever featuring training by two coaches with tremendous amounts of on and off skates experience, Coaching and Captains seminars, Skater trainings, loads of games to watch and Two! That's right Two scrimmages to participate in!
When: January 10th, 11th
Where: Coliseum Agrena, Section C
Weekend Events (times may be subject to change)
Saturday
Training- 9-11 and 12-2
4pm- Round Robin games featuring Team New-Brunswick, Team Nova-Scotia and special guest team!
Sunday
Training- 9-12:30
Scrimmage- 1-3
*Training is for all levels
**There will be one Co-Ed scrimmage and one women only scrimmage

EL TANNANT
El Tannant is a name synonymous with Roller Derby both in Quebec and Canada having been a coach with Roller Derby Qc since its beginnings and been a member of the Mont Royals as far back as to have been considered a minor on the team.Since first strapping on a pair of skates at the age of 3, El Tannant played competitive hockey until the age of 18 (Midget AA) as well as a season of Roller (inline) Hockey. As a member of Men's Team Canada he represented Canada at MRDWWC 2014 and is everyone's favourite coach to daydream over.
Smeg Marc
Smeg Marc is not simply a coach who looks good in a tie. His roots in derby trace back to 2008 where his fandom of the sport found him specializing as an NSO and Announcer eventually becoming the Trainer for the newly WFTDA Apprentice League, Roller Derby Quebec for the past 3 years. He has coached Les Casse-Gueules for 2 seasons and for the past 3 seasons has coached Les Duchesses, the RDQ-A Team which includes an undefeated 2014 season placing them in the Canadian top 10. Along with 30+ bouts experience and attending various other training camps and WFTDA Officiating Clinics, Smeg Marc is also a rules and strategies specialist.
