When seeking investment, you must answer two important questions for the investor: how will you use my money, and how will you make me rich. One of the most important documents that you need to answer these questions is a pro-forma income statement. This is not a financial statement, but rather a strategic look at your projected future growth. It will tell a potential investor how you are going to make money by describing your business model and your income and expenses over time, including your underlying assumptions. Constructing a credible pro-forma will also be the foundation of creating a credible business plan. Today's presentation will tell how to develop a persuasive pro-forma.
