Battle of the Bottles--Competitive Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Grab your friends and join us for a night of fun, wine, and competition! Never been to a competitive wine tasting before? Here's how it works:
Teams of 1-3 people bring two identical bottles of red wine, priced under $15 each. One bottle is set aside as part of the prizes, and the other one--we'll all blind taste test and rate.
The team with the highest rated bottle will take home a big share of the prize bottles, with some for the runner ups also. The team with the worst bottle can take theirs back.
Each team needs:
> 1-3 people
> Two identical bottles of red wine
> A ticket for each member ($12 online, $15 at the door)
> A great team name! (The Winers, Wine and Win, or Tasty Delight, for example)
You could win lots of wine, much respect, and infinite glory!
Proceeds benefit the Samaritans of New York--NYC's only completely confidential 24hr suicide hotline.
