ComedySportz Thanksgiving Tournament
ComedySportz is fast-paced, all-ages, competitive improvisational comedy, played as a sport. Two teams take turns making up scenes, playing games and singing songs and the audience votes on which team they like the best. It's all presided over by a referee, who keeps things moving, calls the ComedySportz fouls and takes suggestions shouted out by the audience before each game.
If you've seen TV's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" or "Imrov-A-Ganza" you've got the basic idea, although ComedySportz's two-team competitive format ensures a fast-paced, high-energy show - and seeing this live show is very different from watching a TV show.
For our special Thanksgiving tournament we will be having teams from Dallas and Houston in town.
Friday night 4 San Antonio teams will be competing against each other to decide who will be playing in the championship match on Saturday night.
FRIDAY NIGHT:
4 teams will be playing in the 7:30 match, 2 teams in the 1st half, the other 2 teams in the second half. The winners of these two matches will compete in the 9:45 match to determine who goes on to the championship match at 9:45 on Saturday night.
SATURDAY NIGHT:
Houston vs Dallas at 7:30. The winner will take on San Antonio in the 9:45 championship match.
