Chicago Artists Chorale: Inaugural Concert
Please join us for the Chicago Artists Chorale inaugural Winter concert! Over 50 artists in the Chicagoland area have come together to be a part of this exciting new ensemble. Part of our mission this season is to have the unique opportunity to gather as a diverse community of artists and express ourselves through the art of choral music. In doing so, we strive to expand our artistic experiences, grow as musicians, and embrace the power of the ensemble.
Led by Artistic Director Tom Vendafreddo, the Chorale will perform works by Palestrina, Viadana, Mozart, Britten, Lauridsen, and more. Associate Artistic Director, Devin DeSantis, will lead the 20-voice Chicago Artists Ensemble in works by Duruflé, Byrd, and Daley.
The Chicago Temple Handbell Ensemble will be playing a lovely holiday program as a prelude to our concert beginning at 7pm. This ensemble rings three octaves of Schlumerich handbells and three octaves of Suzuki handchimes, with eleven players comprising their core roster.
