Ordinary Heroes
A play that chronicles Nashville's pivotal role in the national Civil Rights Movement, from the perspective of the unknown footsoldiers. A culmination of two years of research and interviews, Ordinary Heroes is dramatic scenes, music, poetry, dance, and multi-media, presented in the historic Fisk University Memorial Chapel, where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lent his support to the Nashville sit-in movement in the 1960s.
