Taught by traditional Makah basket maker Melissa Peterson-Renault. Each person will make a cedar spiral basket. A rare opportunity to learn this unique skill, and complete something beautiful. All materials included. There will be a break for lunch. We recommended bringing a bag lunch. Cost: $20/per person. Space is limited to 10 people.
This traditional arts workshop is a program of Northwest Heritage Resources, in partnership with the ShorelineLake Forest Park Arts Council. It's funded in part by 4Culture, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Northwest Heritage Resources.
