Firebirds and Snow Angel - Two One Act Plays
Firebirds, written by Liz Flahive of Showtime's Nurse Jackie fame, is a funny, heartfelt homage to high school where a group of emotional high school seniors are scrambling to overcome last minute challenges before graduation. For these students their lives are about to begin but they must overcome everything that's going wrong before they enter one of life's most exciting chapters.
Snow Angel, by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner David Lindsay-Abaire, takes place on a single snowy day in Deerpoint, Vermont during its first blizzard in 107 years. Told through the journal entries and interactions between 15 students, the confused teens try to figure out what brought a mysterious girl named Eva to their town and who she truly is. Snow Angel is a funny and eerie tale of teen angst, discovery, and the power of believing.
